Travels Thus Far

I've been extremely fortunate and have done a good bit of traveling in my life already, though I wish I have done more! Inspired by another volunteer's blog, I thought I would do a little recounting of where I've already been. My goal in life is to visit all 50 states and every single country in the world, which is ambitious, but I'm going to try!

1. United States: Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Louisiana, Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, California.

3. Australia: Sydney, and other places I can't remember... I was a kid.
4. New Zealand: Christchurch, Auckland, and all over... we rented a camper and drove around.

*I don't count places where I've just been to the airport (Switzerland, Chile, Kenya) or Turkey, where I only stopped at Ephesus/Kusadasi for the day.

On my list for visiting during the 6 weeks of vacation time we get: as much of Madagascar as I can see, plus South Africa/Zambia/Botswana (check!), hopefully India for a friend's wedding party (check!), and for my COS trip (travels at the end of service), Indonesia (check!).

NEW LIFE GOAL: SWIMMING THE WORLD
I decided during my vacation in Foulpointe (while bobbing around in the Indian Ocean) that in addition to my life goal of visiting every country in the world, I also want to swim in every ocean (5 total) and every sea (113 total?):

Oceans:

3. Indian Ocean
(I'm just missing the Arctic Ocean and Antarctic Ocean... is it even possible to swim in these?)
